How to access APIs

Here are the steps to gain access to the API 

1. Sign up through API portal here - https://portal-test.hachette.co.uk/signup/

2. Activate your account by clicking on the link received in the registration email.

3. Upon successful verification of the email address:

   - Explore the list of available APIs and their definitions - https://portal-test.hachette.co.uk/apis

   - Get access to an API by subscribing to the Product that contains your APIs - https://portal-test.hachette.co.uk/products

4. HUK web team will approve your subscription request.

5. Once your subscription is approved:

   - You can go to your Profile where you can find the API keys. Note: either primary or secondary key should be added to the request header when making a request to the API endpoints.

   - Check the definition of APIs and test an operation by clicking on the Try It.
